Our Service

NewsIntell provides 100%, 24/7 coverage of all Chinese print news published in Singapore, which includes Lianhe Zaobao, Lianhe Wanbao, Shin Min, and Mypaper. It processes all electronic data files directly from Lianhe Zaobao, MyPaper, Lianhe Wanbao, Shin Min Daily News to ensure that every article printed is monitored for relevance to the user. As the Service is offered through SPH’s Chinese news portal, it is able to access daily news at the earliest time. This means that the Service can offer same morning delivery of relevant content for each news cycle to allow customers to react quickly and effectively to latest news developments. In addition, the Service provides soft copy Chinese versions of all relevant content, something no other provider can do. NewsIntell staff will first work with client to generate a list of keywords to define the scope of monitoring. And, using revolutionary technology, NewsIntell will aggregate and rank all Chinese news output from the local papers based on criteria given in order of relevance. A human editor carries out second-line validation of relevance and confirms articles for processing. Validated articles are then sent for processing (summarization). Summaries of the top-ranked articles are then sent to the client. Should the client require, they can also order full-article translations of the news article, and it will be delivered within the same working day, as long as the order is received before 11a.m that day. Audio-enabled news information could also be sent should the client request.

Packages

There are two standard packages whereby our clients can choose from. 1) Premium package Under the premium package, we will provide: i) maximum 15 summaries of the most relevant articles each day, delivered by 9 a.m. Weekend news summaries are sent on Monday before 9a.m. ii) user console, where users are provided with usernames and passwords to access the summaries and articles. Through the console they will also be provided with searchable title headers and first hundred words of all Chinese articles in the news cycle. iii) 10 full English translations of the relevant Chinese news articles per year iv) color-tagging of keywords in the news articles for easy identification. v) soft copy of the relevant ZB, WB, SM, and MyPaper news articles. vi) summaries and full-article translations are also sent via email, and ready pdf format. 2) Classic package Under the classic package, we will provide: i) maximum 10 summaries of the most relevant articles each day, delivered by 12 noon. Weekend news summaries are sent on Monday before 12 noon. ii) user console, where users are provided with usernames and passwords to access the summaries and articles. Through the console they will also be provided with searchable title headers and first hundred words of all Chinese articles in the news cycle. iii) color-tagging of keywords in the news articles for easy identification. iv) soft copy of the relevant ZB, WB, SM, and MyPaper news articles. To celebrate our launch of this service, we are offering these packages at a promotional rates! For premium packages, we are now offering at a discount rate of $3600 per month (excludes GST) (usual price: $4000). For classic packages, we are now offering at a discount rate of $1900 per month (excludes GST) (usual price: $2500). Rate for provision of Chinese files as audio files will be an additional $600 per month. The discounted rate for same-day translation of full articles is $22 per 100 Chinese words.
